Hello new and returning students! I’m happy to be back and looking forward to all of our classes this semester.

Welcome to Art + Design at Palm Beach State College!
I will be updating this blog with inspiring design posts 1-3 times per week – otherwise, see your class blog for detailed schedules, assignments and tutorials. Welcome to Design at Palm Beach State College! If you are looking for a class syllabus, you can find it on my faculty home page.

The following classes have their own class blog, in addition to this umbrella main blog, to stay posted with: Illustrator 1, Drawing 1, Design Fundamentals, 3D Design and Graphic Design 2. Stay tuned for more information as the new semester settles in.

We will be using this site for all assignments, inspiration, due dates, etc. We will use Canvas to document attendance and grades and officially submit your projects. All critiques and classes will meet in person.

Crazy story at the amazing Louvre! How does this happen? What do you think? Feels like a movie plot – if you’re into art heist movies – highly recommend “The Thomas Crown Affair” and the interestingly named “Who the *** is Jackson Pollock?”

Do you know about the Cultural Council for the Palm Beaches? An amazing gallery space just down the street – free to get in! As well as exhibit opportunities. You should apply to “The Short List”!
