Miami Love
Been to Miami lately? Its a treasure trove of architectural gems, deco typography, candy coated color schemes and cutting edge museums.
Take a trip!
Museums:
There are SO many more. So close! When are you planning your mini road trip?
Cool animations
<p><a href=”https://vimeo.com/144008517″>Le Petit Chef – Bouillabaisse</a> from <a href=”https://vimeo.com/user8910866″>Skullmapping</a> on <a href=”https://vimeo.com”>Vimeo</a>.</p>
Also love these simple light animations on still photographs.
NYPL Digital Collection
The New York Public Library has recently enhanced access to all public domain items in Digital Collection so that EVERYONE can enjoy, reuse and download high resolution beautiful photographs. There are over 180,000 items in their digital collections!
FREEEEEEE.
This is a HUGE resource, students. Use it. Be inspired. Travel through history. Explore.
These images could be used in artwork and designs, as inspiration, or even as a free, downloadable art to frame for your space.
I downloaded a few above but also really liked this collection seen on Apartment Therapy.
I’m particularly drawn to the Farm Security Administration photos – if you aren’t aware of the FSA and WPA, I’d revisit your history. 😉
