A few of you have asked me to look at your portfolios lately – which I love doing! Another great resource is National Portfolio Day. It can’t hurt to have many professionals give you their opinion on your work. You can register for free virtual sessions or travel to one.
It’s NEVER too early to start thinking about your portfolio – whether for transferring to FAU/ (FAU portfolio for BFA due Sept 23-27) another school or for applying for a job.

Join us on Friday, September 6 for Community Portrait Day at CityPlace, part of the city-wide public art initiative, A Community Portrait: West Palm Beach.
Have your photo taken, share your story, and become a part of West Palm Beach history during this public art project inspired by The Inside Out Project platform.
Led by the creative duo Christine Wexler and Luigerman Gomez, A Community Portrait: West Palm Beach aims to build community awareness through large-scale, black and white portraits of the individuals who make up the great city of West Palm Beach. The portraits will be displayed throughout the city during the month of November.
